As a Junior Frontend Developer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital future and driving innovation and usability within the staffing industry.
About the role
As a Junior Frontend Developer at Edda Group, you will focus on constructing productive and efficient frontend UIs. Both by migrating workflows from existing desktop applications to a new web interface, and by developing new workflows and capabilities driven by digital oppertunities. This requires critical thinking and continuously questioning the approach, and achieving an intuitive, informative and responsive UI. Component re-use, and general solutions are a main focus, as the frontend will be used across multiple countries and companies by multiple audiences.

Your Profile
You likely have a graduate degree or a bachelors degree in a technical domain. In addition you have a coulpe of years working experience in relevant coding languages and with handling front-end challenges like connecting to a back-end and striking a balance development and usage productivity.
Collaborative and good at listening in and asking the right questions.

Technologies
- React and/or React Native experienceHTML, CSS and JavaScript proficiency
- Simple .NET skills are a bonus
Experience
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript: Ability to write clean and semantic HTML, create responsive layouts with CSS, and implement interactive functionality using JavaScript.
Experience with CSS frameworks: be familiar with popular CSS frameworks, pre-designed UI components and responsive grids that can be leveraged to build consistent and visually appealing web interfaces.
Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks/libraries for the development of complex and interactive user interfaces and to provide tools for state management, component reusability, and data manipulation.
Responsive web design: A front-end developer should understand the principles of responsive web design and be able to build websites that adapt and display correctly across different devices and screen sizes.
Browser compatibility: knowledge of browser compatibility issues and be able to write code that works consistently across different web browsers.
UI/UX knowledge: basic understanding of user interface (UI) and user experience (UX) design principles. This includes knowledge of usability, accessibility, and best practices for creating intuitive and user-friendly interfaces.
Problem-solving and debugging skills: Front-end developers should have strong problem-solving skills and be able to troubleshoot and debug issues that may arise during development.
