At Edda Group, we are embarking on a transformative program to modernize our current software estate and scale up our operations across the Scandinavian region. Our ambitious program presents complex use cases and a transition of isolation, to single systems that cater multiple organizations, audiences, and channels. As a UI/UX Designer, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our digital future and driving innovation and usability within the staffing industry.

About the role

As a UI/UX Designer at Edda Group, you will focus on creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces. Partially by re-designing existing processes from the existing desktop application to fit a new web interface, and by developing new workflows and capabilities driven by digital opportunities. This requires critical thinking and continuously questioning the approach, and achieving an intuitive, informative, and responsive UI. 

Component re-use, and general (reusable) solutions are the main focus, as the application will be used across multiple countries and companies by multiple audiences.

In this role, there is the opportunity to be employed at either our headquarter in Copenhagen, Denmark, or at our new location in the center of Cluj, Romania. Regardless of the location, as an employee at Edda Group, you can look forward to favorable employment terms, including 5 weeks of annual leave, lunch arrangement, complimentary coffee and soft drink, as well as the opportunity of 1-2 remote working days a week.

Your profile

You likely have a graduate degree or a bachelor’s degree in a technical domain. In addition, you have at least 3 years with proven experience in relevant UI/UX design, preferably with a strong portfolio showcasing your work.

Collaborative and good at listening in and asking the right questions.

  • Like to get things done.
  • Quality oriented.
  • Proficient in English writing and speaking.

Experience

  • Efficient in wire-framing and early testing, and early feedback loops in order to design with feasibility in mind.
  • Skilled in articulating and applying design principles, such as color theory, typography, layout, and hierarchy, to create recognizable and consistent user interfaces.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and communicate clearly with stakeholders with different experience levels and interests.
  • Creative and analytical mindset with a user-centric approach.
  • Familiarity with the technologies we use is a plus:
    • Umbraco / ASP.NET
    • Razor/Blazor
  • WinForms
